During the SKILL UP small-scale partnership, the partners will prepare a toolkit (training modules, skills assessment tools,

short courses for adult learners) that educators can use to increase employability skills in adult learners and motivate them

in accessing further lifelong learning possibilities. With this project, the partners will deepen their understanding of digital,

entrepreneurial, sustainability skills and find new ways to use them to motivate adult learners in starting personal and/or

professional development, and increasing their chances for a better job position too.

In order to tackle those issues, partners will

Ob1 Increase partners’ readiness to work with the target group by sharing expertise and knowledge with the project partners and stakeholders involvement

Ob2 Increase partner understanding of XXI century EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS, by organizing 3 round of focus groups to hear their point of view

Ob3 Boost partners’ ability to support adult learners by organizing 3 workshops with 9 educators each to level up their ability

to facilitate adult learners’ development

OB4 Develop and test 3 short courses aimed at boosting EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS with 30 adult learners

Ob5 increase the usability and relevance of the SKILLUP results by validating projects results with a group of experts

Ob6 Ensure project and results visibility by involving actively local stakeholders the promotion and dissemination activity


The main results are

*Increased awareness on employability skills needed to actively participate in the contemporary labour market

*Enlarged partners professionalism and knowledge thanks to a new learning by doing possibility performed in a multicultural


*Increased awareness and motivation of adult learners in participating in LLP initiatives and upskilling opportunities

*developed educators professional abilities to use and integrate SKILL UP tools in their regular work

*Increased visibility for partners at local and international level leading to wider synergies and stronger networking possibilities with different stakeholders


By cooperating in the small partnership, the partner will have the possibility to study more in depth what digital, transversal

and sustainability skills that SMEs need now while learning new ways to motivate adult learners in entering personal or professional development programs.

The partners would like to experiment new and more effective methodologies to engage adult participants in lifelong learning

possibilities, while increasing their awareness on the how to assess XXI century EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS, that are needed

by the labour market. For this reason, the new approach to be developed necessitates adult educators, instructors and

employment advisors from the partners’ organizations to be skilled enough to add to the actual leaning process, also

element of counselling, mentoring and basic knowledge of the services available at local /community level to address adult

learners’ needs.


The 3 partners belong to different countries, with different level of economic development and used to different training

methods. By working together in this project, they aim at looking for new solutions to improve and learn together.

The 3 participating organizations possess internally enough competences and knowledge to offer new solutions and improve their services. They will be equally responsible for the good results of the project and they are all motivate to work together to

offer more refined tools to their audiences.
