Youth entrepreneurship is persistently on the agenda of policymakers because of its potential for creating innovation, combating unemployment, preventing social exclusion, and therefore contributing to economic growth and territorial cohesion.

The entrepreneurship skills are among eight key competences of the European Reference Framework on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning, however, teaching about entrepreneurship and its fundamentals is not systematically performed in educational institutions at the primary and secondary level as well as in initiatives of vocational education and training. In order to make such training effective, educators, youth workers and trainers should be adequately skilled.

Young people do not lack self-esteem either courage to develop their business idea, they need higher support in the development of competences necessary to recognize entrepreneurial opportunities as financial literacy, digital competences, soft-skills. All young people at all levels of education should have the opportunity to develop these competences through practical preparation. That is where the youth workers can play an essential role. The specific objectives of “Entrepreneurship skills as path to efficient inclusion in the society” project are:

* collecting and creating innovative materials about entrepreneurship and empowering by them youth workers and young people;

* improving the entrepreneurial and innovative capacities of young people in partner countries;

* raising the capacity of organisations working with young people outside formal learning;

* improving the capacity of the youth sector to work transnationally with care of inclusiveness, solidarity and sustainability;

* enhance synergies and complementarities with formal and non-formal education systems.

Partners will design accessible and inclusive project activities, taking into account the views of participants with fewer opportunities and involving them in decision making throughout the whole process.
